Do you take walk-ins or same day appointments?
No. Due to the nature of my business, I must have at least 24 hours notice for all appointments, whether it be massage, yoga therapy, private yoga lessons or archery lessons.
I'm a new client. What do I do now?
Email or call 919-480-1960 to schedule an appointment. You will receive a confirmation email or text message. Please arrive early for your first massage or yoga appointment so that you can complete your health intake form. If you like, you may download the form here and complete it in advance.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cannot make your scheduled appointment please call or email me immediately to reschedule. If you are unable to reschedule, cancellations must be made more than 24 hours in advance of appointment time. No shows will be charged the full rate.
What should I expect?
Expect to be treated with professionalism, compassion and courtesy. I work in partnership with you to address your goals, whether they be learning a new skill or improving your health. Read more about what to expect during a massage therapy session right here.
What is Massage Therapy?
Massage is one of the oldest healing arts: Chinese records dating back 3,000 years document its use; the ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians applied forms of massage for many ailments; and Hippocrates wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. Today, the benefits of massage are varied and far-reaching. As an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs, massage therapy has also proven beneficial for many chronic conditions, including low back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, immunity suppression, infertility, smoking cessation, depression, and more. And, as many millions will attest, massage also helps relieve the stress and tension of everyday living that can lead to disease and illness. Learn more right here!
