About

Janara is a multi-talented explorer, an educator and outdoor guide with a lifelong thirst for knowledge. After a stint dividing her year between both coasts, she has returned to Denver, CO. She is delighted to be sharing the wisdom, insight and practices she has picked up along the way with folks in the Rockies and beyond.

When she isn't working, Janara enjoys skiing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, kitties, backpacking, performing old-time music, climbing mountains, cooking, archery, martial arts, yoga and a good glass of wine. Every now and again, she takes a nap.

"I too am not a bit tamed, I too am untranslateable. I sound my barbaric yawp over the roofs of the world."

-Walt Whitman
